Pioneer Living?

So, as I have talked about before. I am a pretty big fan of all the “Little House” books by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

In fact, they are some of the books that heavily influenced my journey to self sufficiency!

While I would prefer to stay in one location, and build my homestead (more like “Farmer Boy”) instead of constantly moving from place to place, I love all the windows into the pioneer lifestyle that her books provide.

I am so thankful for all my modern conveniences (namely hot running water, my dishwasher, and washing machine), but I like to think that I would have been pretty decent at pioneer living. čÖé

Anyway, I have teamed up with The Homestead Blogger’s Network, and The Little House On The Prairie┬« to bring you this AWESOME giveaway!

I have always enjoyed the Little House books. I’ve order Pioneer Girl but it’s been back ordered for so long. Someday I’d like to see Laura’s house in MO. Have you read Little House in the Ozarks? It’s a compilation of lots of her articles she had written for the newspaper. Very interesting read.
