Tips for A Healthy Holiday Season
Do the Holidays make you stress out and gain weight? Well, today I am sharing some tips for keeping the stress away and creating a healthy holiday season!
Mentioned in the video:
Love the Holidays and having a great time with your friends, but don’t love the sugar overload or the food hangover afterwards? Same here! So, we are having a holiday party without the bloat, the sugar rush, or the guilt, and we would love for you to join us!
Please bring a healthy side dish or dessert to share.
Here are a few general guidelines as to what we mean by “HEALTHY”:
– No refined (white) sugar or flour. Honey, maple syrup, raw sugar and whole grain flour products are great!
– No trans or hydrogenated fats (Corn, canola, soy, margarine oils, etc.) Bring on the butter, lard, olive, and coconut oils!
– Veggies, cheeses, olives, and meats will be our focus, with a few dark chocolate and fruit based desserts to end with!
We will have coffee, tea, water, and a few bottles of wine to drink.
Do you live within driving distance of me here in Central Virginia??? If so, here is your actual invitation! We are opening up the homestead and inviting you into our home for a healthy holiday party on December 16th, 2017. I can’t wait to meet everyone in person!
