Garden Tour~ May 2017

Can I share with you one of the biggest pleasures in my life?

It’s pretty basic, but it brings me much joy, and it provides a host of side benefits for me and my family as well.

Growing things.

I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t get my hands in the dirt for at least 3/4 of the year. I love flowers and hedges, and my fruit trees, but most of all I love my vegetable garden.

I use the permaculture method to create and maintain my garden. No tilling, little watering, and little weeding. Lots and lots of amazing vegetables and fruits!

So here is just a little tour of my garden in mid spring.

This video was filmed the first week of May 2017, Zone 7a in Central Virginia.

Gardening is my therapy, my way to get consistent fresh air and sunshine every day, (along with my daily walks) and it makes it easier to provide my family with fresh, organic, seasonal meals for the majority of the year.

Do you enjoy growing things? Flowers or food?
